What do you do when a loved one gets into trouble? Abram knew what to do! As soon as he heard that Lot was in trouble and had been captured, he swung into action, implemented a clever military strategy, and defeated the enemy, chasing them completely out of the area.

Lot Is In Trouble!
Abram’s (soon to be Abraham) life and walk with God is the main subject of Genesis 12-25. A secondary character throughout this is Abram’s nephew Lot. Lot was a believer (See 2 Peter 2:6-9), but a believer who made choices that didn’t honor, and were in disobedience to, the Lord.
